Our Sunday gatherings at 10 AM at the Byrd Theatre are centered around music, teaching and Communion.
On a typical Sunday, you can expect high quality worship music that's contemporary and rock-driven. (Sorry, we're not using the Byrd's Mighty Wurlitzer!)
We believe that worship music should be an expression of the people, rooted in the historic Christian faith, but birthed out of the culture we're in. As such, the music is mostly contemporary with original tunes and ancient Christian music blended in.
Every service includes a time of teaching that's practical and Biblical. Our goal is to open God's Word every week and learn what He has to say to us through it.
A time of Communion (Eucharist) has been central to Christian worship for 2000+ years -- and it's central to us, too. In Communion, we take bread and juice to remember the sacrifice Christ made for us all.

Area 10 Kids
Area 10 offers great children's classes on Sunday mornings for kids up to 5th Grade.
We also have a nursery for babies up to
24 months, plus a fun kid's program for children 2 years old through 2nd Grade (a few doors down at Cartwheels & Coffee). Our 3rd - 5th Graders enjoy the opening worship time and then fun lessons upstairs at The Byrd!
Our trained volunteers will make sure that your child has fun playing, making friends and learning lessons of faith. We believe spirituality is for all ages. The Area 10 Kids program is designed to aid parents in teaching their child to know and love God. As you participate in worship at the Byrd, you can be sure your children are being well cared for.
