Summer of Fun

Summer of Fun

Area 10 Summer of Fun is a great way to upgrade your summer. Richmond is an awesome place to live, with plenty of things to do in the city and surrounding areas. We're planning a lot of great opportunities to connect with others in the community over common hobbies and interests.

Check out the events, sign up, and invite someone to tag along! Be sure to check out the website throughout the summer as events will be added all summer. Go to A10SummerFun.com

School Supply Drive

School Supply Drive

Join us as we partner with Fox Elementary and UMFS by supplying extra supplies for their classrooms and for their student’s who may not come prepared with their necessary materials. This is a great way to partner with teachers and students and help parents who are maintaining these relationships all year long.

Several price points available. Emails with a link to sign up will be sent out. If you do not receive an email, you can request one from Nicole Farr.

All items due back by Sunday, August 27.

Financial Peace University

Financial Peace University

Cartwheels & Coffee (map)

Millions of people have gone through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU) and learned God’s ways of handling money. They’ve worked a plan, rewritten their stories, and changed their futures. On average, FPU graduates pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in only the first 90 days!

FPU consists of video curriculum taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey, and it incorporates small group discussions that help encourage accountability and discipleship. Groups meet once a week for 90 minutes, and the course is just as fun as it is practical!

Over 50 Area 10 families have participated in Financial Peace University and are now in charge of their finances and their future. You can do it too!

Cost for materials is $100/family.

On Tuesday, September 12, from 5:30-8:30 PM, we'll be providing childcare for families so parents can meet the principal and their teachers. If you're quick on your feet, love kids and have energy to spare, we would love for you to sign up!

Each adult must register individually. More details will be provided prior to the event. Registration will open August 20.

Partnership Class

Partnership Class

Velocity Church (map)

Partnership is when you say “This is my church” and not just a church you go to. It's becoming a stake holder here and supporting Area 10's mission to spread Love Beyond Reason in Richmond and beyond.

If you've been at A10 for a while but you’ve never come to the Partnership Class then this is your next step. You'll hear from our staff and learn not only what we're doing as a church, but why we're doing it. Hear about where we came from, what we believe, what our vision is for this community and where we're going next.

If this sounds interesting to you, sign up today. Breakfast and childcare provided.

Women's Conference

Women's Conference

Do you ever struggle with knowing who you are?

Often, we identify ourselves by where we live, our occupation, cultural backgrounds, education, family roles, etc. But if you took away your job, your family, your house, your degrees and titles and stripped everything else away, who would you be?

Please join us for Area 10’s Women’s Conference, September 28 - 30, as we seek to address these questions and to explore what it means to have our identity in Christ. We'll gather together for yoga, connect with one another on a deeper level, hear from guest speakers, and unpack truth through group discussions.

LOCATION: U-Turn at 2101 Maywill Street, Richmond, VA 23230
