Topher Lytle will lead this ten-week study introduces Christians to LGBT+ people, the language to use and avoid, a theologically faithful view of marriage and sexuality, and offers practical guidance on how to embody the love of Christ toward sexual and gender minorities. Join us on Sunday afternoons from 12-1:30pm at 2810: a community gathering place. This learning experience is designed for Christians who desire to engage questions of faith, sexuality and gender with both grace and truth.
Mondays at 9:30am - Women of the Word - Book Study
Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, retired grandmother, or you just have a non-traditional working schedule, it can be hard to build community with other Christian women when you’re schedule doesn’t look like everyone else’s. Join Aly Birkl and Rachel Woolard on Monday mornings as we dive into Jen Wilkin’s book, “Women of the Word” and discover how to get the most out of reading the Bible together.
This is a “Chaos & Conversations” style group, which means that kids are welcome to hang out (and even participate in the group if they want)! No childcare will be offered, but kids will be nearby so we can collectively keep an eye on them while we chat.
Mondays at 7pm - Transformation 101
Feeling stuck? Not sure how to move forward with your life goals?
This eight-week class, Transformation 101, begins on Monday, October 10th, and runs through Monday, February 5 (no class on March 4). Chris Barras will help lead you through this powerful curriculum that helps you root out what is holding you back and take some real steps forward in faith. We will meet 7:00-9:00 PM each Monday night at 2810: A Community Gathering Space. The class is $75 per person.
Tuesdays at 6:30AM - Bible Study
This Tuesday morning small group, hosted by Keith Schleicher and Earl Hastings, will be reading the book of John in the New Testament, using a study guide by the legendary N.T. Wright. They meet at 2810: a community gathering place from 6:30-8am on Tuesday mornings. This group is open to all ages and life stages.
Every Other Tuesday at 6:00pm - Northside - Connection Group
John and Adrianna Genier are hosting this bi-weekly connection group in their home on the Northside, in the Bellevue neighborhood. Come hang out every other Tuesday at 6PM for snacks and conversation. This group is open to all ages and life stages.
Tuesdays at 6:30pm - Young Adults
Are you curious what the Bible ACTUALLY says about different hot topic issues, but you don’t know where to look? Join Tanner Joyce on Tuesday nights at 2810: a community gathering place as they read through a simple to understand book called, “Does the Bible Really Say That?”
We will be going through various well-known stories of the Bible and tackling misconceptions that are not found in Scripture. All young adults ages 18-28 are welcome!
Every Other Sunday at 5PM - CLOSED
TJ and Alle Owen will open their home on the South Side every other Sunday evening to discuss the current sermon series. This group invites families with kids of all ages to join in on the conversation with other families from our faith community.
