WE WERE BUILT FOR THIS.

GROWING DEEPER. REACHING FARTHER.

"Build homes, and plan to stay. Plant gardens, and eat the food they produce... And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare." — Jeremiah 29:5, 7

At Area 10, we believe sharing God’s love means deepening our roots in the community around us.

When God spoke to His people in Jeremiah 29, He didn't tell them to withdraw from their city. He told them to plant gardens, build homes, and seek the peace and flourishing of the place where they lived. Their faith was meant to bless the community around them.

That vision continues to shape us today. God has faithfully grown Area 10—new families have found a church home, children are discovering Jesus, small groups are forming deep friendships, people are growing in God’s Word through Formation Groups, and volunteers are serving with incredible generosity. As God continues to bring new people into our community, we're facing a wonderful challenge:

We have outgrown our physical space.

Rather than simply adding rooms, we believe God is inviting us to cultivate new places where people can grow in Christ and bear fruit for years to come.

Our Fundraising Goal: $280,000

HERE’S THE PLAN:

We will transform our currently unusable auxiliary building/storage area (aka. the “blue building”) into a vibrant ministry space.

The renovated building would include:

  • 3 additional classrooms for A10 Kids & small groups

  • Storage + Workshop area

  • One additional restroom

On Sunday mornings, these spaces will allow us to create smaller, more relational environments where children are known, loved, and nurtured as they grow in faith.

Throughout the week, those same rooms will become places for Bible studies, Formation Groups, leadership development, and community gatherings.

Every room will be designed with one main purpose:
Helping people grow deeper in Christ.

ANSWERING YOUR QUESTIONS:

Should I reallocate my monthly giving to this giving initiative?

No, we ask that this donation be a sacrificial gift above and beyond your regular giving to Area 10. This one-time gift does not impact our normal operating budget, which funds day to day ministry.

How should I decide how much to give?

  • Pray First: Ask God to reveal what sacrificial giving looks like for you and your family. Listen and honestly allow God to shape your decision.

  • Talk with Others: Be sure to communicate with any other members of your household about what you hope to do with this gift. Let your kids be involved. Brainstorm together, looking for ways you can temporarily cut back to redirect funds to the project.

  • Decide: Settle on a gift amount that stretches you and your family, but doesn’t harm your long-term financial situation. Look for areas where you can temporarily cut back to redirect funds to the project.

  • Check Your Heart: Don’t compare your gift to what you think others are giving. Give cheerfully, knowing that your generosity honors God while changing lives and impacting eternity.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV): Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

How should I give?

On Sunday, September 20, we will ask you to give a one-time gift on that Sunday, or to pledge to give a gift over the next three months (October, November, December).

What HAPPENS if we exceed our goal?

Exceeding our goal would be an enormous blessing! We have lots of ideas on how to make this new building even more impactful, such as building an outdoor patio/stage in the Courtyard for worship nights and community events.

Whatever God provides through this giving campaign will be used for His glory. Watch for regular updates on the fundraising and building progress through social media, the weekly newsletter, and in Sunday morning worship services.
