Abide: Creative Practices - Mondays at 6:30PM (Carytown)

Abide: Creative Practices - Mondays at 6:30PM (Carytown)

Quiet time, prayer, and reading scripture can be deeply meaningful spiritual exercises, but they don't always come naturally to everyone. If you struggle to stay focused during your prayer time or simply wonder how to connect more deeply with God, this group offers an interactive approach to deepening our faith while remaining steeped in biblical theology.

Abide is small group that explores creative spiritual practices as a way of reflecting on Scripture, listening for God's voice, and growing in our relationship with Him. Each gathering will include a conversation about God's character, followed by a hands-on practice to help us slow down and meditate on that truth. Activities may include meditation, journaling, drawing, mixed-media art, LEGO building, and other accessible creative exercises.

No artistic experience is necessary. The activities are not about creating something beautiful or getting the "right" result; they're simply ways to slow down, engage with Scripture, and reflect on God. The process matters more than the product.

To help cover the cost of materials and supplies, the suggested donation is $10 per person (and/or a donation of lightly used art or craft supplies). This donation can be waived upon request.
