BE A BETTER FRIEND
Have you ever wondered how to show up more intentionally for the people you care most about, whether it be a friend, spouse, child, neighbor, or coworker? In this one-evening seminar, on Friday, June 12, we will consider how human beings are designed by God to connect, and explore the dynamics of having “Redemptive Conversations” that lead to more openness and authenticity (and what unintentional habits can actually get in the way). $10 per person.
MARRIAGE WORKSHOP
This interactive workshop will equip you with real tools based on research from the Gottman Institute and includes three breakout sessions that allow the couples to work on techniques in real time. Whether you’re in a stressful season or preparing your marriage for the future, Miriam Bott, M.A., LPC will give you helpful and practical advice for keeping your marriage healthy and strong through the rough waters of life. Cost is $50 per couple.
Every Summer, Area 10 Faith Community hosts what we call “Summer of Fun” - an opportunity work together to plan a variety of opportunities to connect with others in our community over common hobbies and interests.
We know building friendships as an adult can be difficult, so these events are designed to be easy, welcoming spaces to connect with people who already share your interests. No pressure, no hidden agenda—just simple opportunities to enjoy something fun together, build community, and form meaningful friendships along the way.
